Customer Reviews Hanging Solar Garden Light - Cornet Shaped Solar Lights, Solar Tree Lighting - Set of Three (3) Lights I purchased these lights to see if they would be adequate as cooking lights for my grill in a screened lanai in FL. The lights worked well for the grill with the bottoms of the cones cut off to give more useful light, but they only stayed on for a couple of hours. When I contacted their customer service they said something is wrong and immediately sent replacements. The replacement lights stayed on longer, but still did not stay on as long as they said they should. They then sent replacement batteries which unfortunately performed the same way. Finally, I looked into the possibility that the lanai screening was reducing the solar input. I was surprised to learn that only some 20% to 30% of the incident light is transmitted through the screen. This explains the 4.5 hours of on-time I am now experiencing. In summary, I was most impressed that Britta knew how their product should perform and they were determined to see that I got the performance I was supposed to get; good product, good company.
